{I’ve been waiting for about two months to finally tell everybody, but I’m ready to announce it!}

This summer, things are going to be different for me.

I’m going to be home working on your designs FULL TIME!

Blog designs (blogger and wordpress), twitter pages, logos, greeting cards, birth announcements, business cards and more.  If you can dream it, I can make it happen.

If you want to move from blogger to wordpress, we can do that, too!

Just send me and email and let me know what you are wanting to do.  The sky’s the limit.  I can’t even imagine all I will be able to accomplish working more than just nights and weekends.

So, get on my waiting list now before things get super busy!

So, you want to make the move from blogger to wordpress.

WordPress really is awesome and has so many great features that you won’t find in blogger.

Now, you have options.

You can pay somebody to move your site from blogger to wordpress (hello, that’s me..happy to help).

But, if you are a do it yourself type, then you need to check out her book, aptly titled How to move from Blogger to WordPress.

Sharon helped me on the ins and outs of moving to wordpress, and her book can help you, too.  You can download the first chapter for free, too!

And, of course, once you get your site all moved over, you’ll need a fabulous new look. And, I’m here to help.

WordPress users have fun plugins and options to help them keep a back up file of their site (like WP-DB-Backup Plugin.)

But, did you know you can back up your blogger site, too?

Please, go do it now.  Log into your blog, then go to Settings -> Basic -> Export Blog.  Save the file to your computer.  If your blog explodes or gets deleted, you still have everything.

Depending on how often you blog, depends on how often I would save that file.

Another option for saving your posts, is to compose them in Windows Live Writer.  It’s like composing your posts in a document writer which you link up with blogger.  Pictures and videos are easier to add, and it saves a copy of your posts, too (if you chose to do so).

Yay! The font issues have been resolved.

It was definitely not a fun thing (trust me, you should have seen all of the people with issues), so I’m very glad it’s been resolved.

Thank you to those of you that brought it to my attention.

Happy blogging.
